I want to thank everybody and anybody who had a helping hand in making the Crimmus Jam really happen yet again. I thank the helping hands that purchased a ticket, the helping hands who held a program while their helping eyes read it, the helping hands who dropped a little extra into the donation bucket, the helping hands who beat on drums and scraped on strings, and even the helping hands that just washed themselves in the bathroom before shaking any other helping hands.

Musically, this year far surpassed anything we could have imagined. Though a large audience for Two Layne Highway's didn't emerge until the end of their set, as always they were great and a pleasure to have grace the stage. The acoustic sets were stellar and then the Crimmus Jam was one of the most fun and stellar sets of music with which I have had the pleasure of performing.

Together after my heft of expenses we were able to give Braswell Memorial Library a donation of $1800 and a couple hundred books to fill shelves and further their mission to provide quality educational and informational service to the Rocky Mount, NC community. We are proud of this what we accomplished this year through grassroots organizing and the implementation of technology here at crimmusjam.com and behind the scenes with the performer communications.

I am very proud to see so much support, and I hope it will be there year after year as we try to get sponsorshp and a larger audience to really have a night of fun and make a difference in someone's life through the money we can raise. A special thanks goes out to Brad Proctor for being my wingman this year and my mom, stepdad, father [r.i.p. jct], and girlfriend. We did it! I can't wait for next year!
