The 5th Annual Charity Crimmus Jam was a raging succes! The band was hot and sweaty. The crowd was loose. The spirit was flowing. We raised over $2300 for My Sister's House! We also had a few donations to fulfill parts of their wishlist. I recommend checking out their website to see what fantastic work they do! We would like to thank all of our sponsors--particularly Braswell Foods of Nashville--for helping us with the production costs so we could make a better donation to My Sister's Hosue. Also The Rocky Mount Telegram provided excellent coverage of our event from a great article by writer Laura Macfarland to video and photos. Check out their photo gallery here! Birchwood Country Club did a fabulous job supporting such a dynamic occassion with a full bar, food, and a greta hall for music. Their staff behind the bar were troopers and the whole place welcomed us warmly. Without a doubt, I must also thank the near 200 people who walked through the door at the Crimmus Jam. It's for you why we put this event on year after year and from what I can tell everyone had a great time and many people seemed to give a little more than the $10 asked for at the door. What a Christmas treat!
